That's A Lot of Water

Hi, did you know that the whole life cycle of just one shirt uses about 700 gallons of water? A lot of this is used during the wet processing or the dying and finishing of making portion of the shirt's life cycle. Most people don't know this. You are asking "Why don't I know this?"

The reasons why you probably don't know this are mostly because most manufacturers don't show either on the tag or anywhere on the shirt how much water was used to make the shirt. One way we can change this is by asking your favorite brands and companies if they are using less water. Doing this should bring enough attention to manufacturers and other people, and that should cause manufacturers to reduce their water usage.
